Grade Level Links
WELCOME TO THE COMPUTER LAB!

Kindergarten thru 3rd grade have class in the computer lab. They follow a curriculum that reinforces daily work.

Kindergarten
The Kindergarten uses programs to reinforce number and letter recognition, Kid Pix to express themselves creatively, and by the end of the year, word processing to write the 40 Most Common Words.

First Grade
The First Grade uses word processing to practice sentence writing and publish stories. Using Kid Pix, they create drawings to insert into their work.

Second Grade
The Second Grade uses word processing to write letters, poems, cards and reports. They illustrate their writing with Kid Pix.

Third Grade
The Third Grade uses the internet to gather information and find pictures for their Space Report. They use Word for the narrative, then use Power Point for the title page and illustrations.
