Technology at St. Raymond School
St. Raymond School is recognized as a leader in integrated technology and hosts schools and districts from across the nation on an ongoing basis to showcase and share our technology program and platform. St. Raymond School utilizes technology in its curriculum as part of its Mission commitment “…to preparing and promoting successful students… responsible for their learning, their actions and their impact on society.” St. Raymond School’s “Integrated Technology” platform complements its solid academic program with rich technology. Our students use technology fluidly as a part of their St. Raymond education to enhance learning, cultivate digital citizenship, and foster digital literacy across the curriculum. The incorporation of technology does not replace the outstanding instruction and curriculum at St. Raymond School, but rather complements and deepens our academic program by taking students beyond the classroom. Significant investments in new technology and professional development underscore our commitment to being innovative while remaining dedicated to our strong learning-centered tradition that is St. Raymond School. The administration and faculty work together to give our students the most meaningful experiences possible.
St. Raymond School's 1:1 Technology Program has only grown since its introduction in 2012. Technology instruction for JK-3 covers application skills to ensure that students are engaged in skills-based programs that support student learning and prepare them with 21st Century skills. In the STEM lab, students in the middle school have access to 6 new iMacs, a class set of MacBook Airs for use with course materials and more sophisticated programing software in addition to the 1:1 iPad in grades 5-8.
