Sister Ann Bernard O'Shea Scholarship Fund

Give the gift of Catholic education

Sr. Ann Bernard O'Shea CSJ, served as principal of St. Raymond School from 1995 to 2011. The current eighth grade (Class of 2019) is the last class at St. Raymond School to have Sr. Ann as their principal. As the eighth grade prepares to graduate, we will be honoring Sr. Ann Bernard at the May Crowning and Alumni Brunch. The impact Sr. Ann Bernard had on our children and our school will not be forgotten. Many teachers hired by Sr. Ann are still on staff including our current principal, Ms. Valerie Mattei. Sr. Ann Bernard hired Ms. Mattei in 2007 to teach first grade, and last year after eleven years as the first grade teacher, Ms. Mattei was named principal much to the delight of the faculty, staff and families of St. Raymond School.

The Sister Ann Bernard O’Shea Scholarship Fund was founded when Sr. Ann retired in 2011. Over the past eight years the fund has helped numerous families who would not otherwise have had the resources to attend St. Raymond School. We need to keep this tradition going. Over the past four years, St. Raymond School has given $214,000 in financial aid and this year we plan to give an additional $50,000 in addition to the financial aid given by the Archdiocese.

When you support the Sister Ann Bernard O'Shea Scholarship Fund, you are giving the gift of Catholic education. Give Online—your donation will make a difference in the life of a St. Raymond School student. Thank you for your generosity.
